Heft, High Newton

The 17th century inn is run by Kevin and Nicola Tickle and will feature five guests rooms, a bar serving a quality beers, carefully selected wines, accompanied by seasonal small plates and snacks, many of which will provide guests with an insight into their restaurant menus and a restaurant serving up Kevin’s unique take on modern British food using a wealth of locally reared and farmed produce in his dishes.

Cumbria is their heft.

The Brief

The Heft kitchen brief was for a full refit that included a fully electric stove that was compact and sustainable in terms of energy use and power output.

We created an all stainless steel kitchen with an island ecochefi+ and a separate pastry area that catered for their love of producing fresh bread daily for their diners.

The stainless steel and wood finishes combine to create a modern country feel.
