Crow Wood Hotel & Spa Resort which is fast becoming one of the best hotels in Lancashire since opening its doors in October 2019.

This brand new luxury hotel is set in 40 acres of private parkland in Burnley, Lancashire, within the Crow Wood resort. With spectacular views of Pendle Hill and the surrounding countryside, a beautiful ornamental lake and fabulous gardens, it is a most wonderful place in which to spend your leisure time.

Wilfred’s Restaurant is a stylish yet welcoming dining venue with its own alfresco terrace. Only the finest ingredients are prepared with passion by our locally renowned chefs and transformed into our unmistakable signature dishes.

The Brief

We were given a blank canvas for this total new build kitchen at Crow Wood. Developing the food service and restaurant kitchens to support the hotel & spa food and beverage offer to guests.

The solution would need to cater for a 250 cover Italian inspired, a la carte restaurant, a 400 cover banqueting and event space, a 180 cover breakfast area, room service and an all day dining restaurant.

Full design and space planning, finishes and advice on layout was given to create a star of the art kitchen.

The Facts

The whole kitchen at Crow Wood’s including their bespoke Ecochef ranges has a maximum power demand load of 850kW per hour.
At peak service a maximum of 119kW per hour is used, a huge saving of 731kW per hour.
