CHR food service equipment is currently working on the next generation of Ecochef for Michelin starred Chef Michael Wignall.

The New kitchen at The Angel at Hetton is the UK’s first fully connected kitchen reducing energy peak demand from 300kwh to just 120kwh.

The company also stated that the next generation of induction will be installed providing Michael THE FIRST Chef in the country to be able to pre set the pans temperature on the stove.

Paul Neville added  “This project is typical of our focus to reduce the clients operational costs, maximize energy efficiency and deliver a real sustainable kitchen. Over 80% of this project will be purchased and manufactured right here in the UK, providing highly skilled, well paid jobs that would normally go to EU country’s .

Now chefs have a chance to support local producers in the world of commercial catering equipment.
